Family First Center of Lake County focuses on strengthening families through wraparound services, community development, and mental health support. Its mission emphasizes rebuilding families, repairing division, and empowering community change.
Key Programs and Services
- Behavioral Health Clinic – Certified as of April 2025; offers clinical, holistic, and community health worker–based mental health services, including therapy, mindfulness, yoga, and stress management. Services are available in English and Spanish and covered by insurance including Medicaid.
- Case Management – Personalized plans, resource navigation, and support for needs such as housing, utilities, clothing, food, and more.
- Youth Programming – Educational and recreational activities for children and teens.
- Community Health Workers – Assistance accessing health information and community resources.
- Seniors on the Move – Services and activities for older adults.
- Unity in the Community Events – Community-building activities and outings.
- Helping Hands Closet – Free clothing, shoes, and baby items for families in need.
